I. General Course Description
First of all, welcome to BIOLOGY! The textbook that you will be “using” is Biology (Prentice Hall).
This course is designed to meet the varying needs and interests of those students who wish to pursue other course offerings in the area of Biology. An understanding of the basic concepts of Biology will be developed through lab work, group work, as well as individual work!
A goal of this class is to develop scientific process skills. This will be done through guided and open-ended investigations, small group discussions, and various projects.
